Premiere
Exporting mpeg for DVD – with chapters.
Use normal markers NOT DVD markers in Prmiere. Double click on marker, give chapter a name, it must have a name of some sort.
File – Adobe Media Encoder- Export to DVD PAL
Open resulting mv2 and wav file in Encore DVD. The xmpses file contains the chapter info. Chapters will be there with names.

New After Effect Composition
Click on AE PROJECT then choose composition from list on right
Composition will appear as a clip in project window
Clip shows as pink on timeline (Dynamic link)
When dragging from source monitor window, ensure the ‘Toggle Take Audio and Video’ button is set to Video only, if required.

Select menu to be edited in Encore

Create After Effects composition
Name and save it
AE will launch with the menu in composition – buttons and graphics are on own layers
Make animations, moves or fades etc.. in AE
Drag composition from project tab (in AE) to the Encore task bar icon and drag to Encore project panel. AE project is now in Encore.
On relevant button link to required timeline (chapter 1) (that will play after the AE transition)
Click TRANSITION tap in properties panel
Pickwhip to AE composition of the transition
Preview should now play transition then the timeline

Use RADIAL Blur – set centre to position of sun (TOP), amount MAX, 100, Qual=Good
Set this layer to SCREEN (lighten or lumniancy) blending mode
Adjustment layers
But what if you want an adjustment layer to change, say, three of the layers in
your image? Create a layer group from the layers (click the New Group button
at the bottom of the Layers palette, and drag the layers into the Group icon in
the palette), add the adjustment layer within the group, and change the layer
group’s blending mode from Pass Through to
palette. The adjustment layer, within the layer group and at the top of the
layer group, is applied to all your layers in the group and only the layers in
that group.
FLASH
Use VERDANA font for small text sizes for increased legibility.

If you get ‘can’t verify’ error, check the drive letter of the destination drive.
Dreamweaver
Tracing Image.
Go to LAYOUT mode.
Page Properties
Select Tracing image
Use Table Layout first – go right down page
Then draw cells with ‘layout cells’ button
